Count the days. Nothing else.

Enter the last day you were in contact. You get a link that says which day you're on every time you open it, the page written for that day, and — if you want it — one email on each day that has one. No account, no app needed.

Your last contact

Day one is the day after. If you texted them last night, that was contact — start from yesterday.

How the count works

Day one is the day after your last contact, and the count keeps itself current whenever you open your link — a permalink opened next week says next week's day, not the day you made it. That's the same rule the app uses, so the number here and the number there always agree.

Contact means texting, calling, replying — and the quiet stuff: checking their profile, watching a story, liking something, asking a mutual friend about them. If you did one of those, the honest start date is that day. The count is only useful if it's honest; a slip is data, not a verdict.

What you get

Questions people ask

Does the no contact counter need an account?

No. The date is the whole state — it lives in the link itself, so nothing is stored about you unless you ask for the Day Count email, and even then only the address and the date.

What if I broke no contact?

Start the counter from the new last-contact date. The old days still happened and the habit still weakened on them; the count restarts, the progress doesn't vanish. Treat the slip as information about which door is still open.

Is day one the day of the breakup?

Day one is the day after your last contact of any kind. If the breakup was a month ago but you texted last week, your count starts from last week.
